Kristi Royse is the dynamic force behind KLR Consulting, where she helps leaders and teams unlock their full potential and turn insight into sustained performance. With over 25 years of experience coaching executives, boards, and teams across industries—from law and tech to finance and nonprofits—Kristi is known for her direct, empowering approach that gets real results.
In addition to her coaching and consulting work, Kristi has held executive leadership roles, including serving as COO and co-founding multiple startups. She brings that “been there, done that” perspective to every engagement—grounding her strategies in the real-world pressures leaders face. That operational depth gives her a unique edge in helping leaders move from complexity to clarity.
Her work focuses on leadership development, strategic planning, executive and team retreats, and building collaboration and trust within high-stakes environments. Whether a team is stuck, a leader is in transition, or an organization is preparing for growth, Kristi’s mix of practical tools and deep insight helps them move forward with confidence.
She’s also a nationally recognized speaker and long-time ProVisors group leader, with a robust network of professionals and decision-makers across the country. Kristi is often described as a “trusted advisor”—the first call when a leader or team needs honest perspective, strategic support, and a catalyst for change.
She holds a B.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and lives in Northern California with her husband and daughter. Kristi loves spending time at the beach and volunteers with the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, CA, combining her passion for leadership with her love for the ocean and giving back.
